Shri Shiv Anant Shanker is an MBA and LLB from Delhi University. He has more than 20 years of experience with regulators like the National Housing Bank which is the apex regulatory body for overall regulation and licensing of housing finance companies in India and Reserve Bank of India which is India's central bank and regulatory body responsible for regulation of the Indian banking system. He has also served on the board of the largest Regional Rural Bank. He has domain knowledge and experience working in the areas of financial inclusion, payment and settlement systems, accounts, regulation, and insolvency ecosystems.
Presently, Shri Shiv Anant Shanker is working as Chief General Manager with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India headquartered in New Delhi. He joined the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board in April 2022 and is currently serving as Chief General Manager, on deputation. In the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board, he is looking after the Inspection, Investigation Division, Advocacy Division, and Research Division.
