Do I have to print approved e-Visa to travel into Singapore?
You are strongly encouraged to print and bring along your e-Visa to avoid any inconvenience as the airlines and immigration authorities of your country of embarkation are likely to ask for the e-Visa for verification.
You can retrieve your valid e-Visa via the 'Enquire Application Status' function at the ICA e-Service with the visa application reference number and applicant's travel document number.
A valid Singapore visa is not an immigration pass, it is a pre-entry permission to allow the holder of the valid Singapore visa to travel to, and seek entry into Singapore. Possessing a valid visa does not guarantee entry into Singapore.
You will have to satisfy the basic entry requirements before being considered for entry into Singapore.
The prevailing entry requirements include:
Visitors who are eligible for entry will be issued with visit passes upon arrival. These visit passes determine the number of days that visitors can stay in Singapore, and it is not tied to the validity of your visa. The granting of visit passes to visitors is determined by the ICA officers stationed at Singapore Checkpoints depending on the merits of each visitor.

SG Arrival Card is the electronic version of the paper DE card that every foreign visitor must present for immigration clearance. The submission of the SG Arrival Card is one of the basic entry requirements to visit Singapore. The use of the SG Arrival Card e-Service is free of charge. Please also note that the SG Arrival Card is not a visa.
What is the validity of the SG Arrival Card?
You need to submit an SG Arrival Card for each trip to Singapore.
The SG Arrival Card submitted for each trip expires:-
after the date of the arrival; or after you have made your trip, whichever is earlier.
Travellers are strongly encouraged to submit their SG Arrival Card before arriving in Singapore, as those who have not done so will be required to submit on arrival before they can proceed for immigration clearance. This will delay their immigration clearance unnecessarily.
If you are using the SG Arrival Card e-Service, you may download a PDF copy of the SG Arrival Card upon updating your SG Arrival Card record. If you are using the 'MyICA' mobile application, your updated SG Arrival Card record can be viewed under "Individual Submission" or "Group Submission". Please be informed that all updated SG Arrival Card information will be stored in ICA's system.
You can choose to amend the trip details of any member in the group if he/she has an itinerary different from the 'lead traveller' or 'leader'. If you are using the SG Arrival Card e-Service, simply uncheck the box 'Same as Lead Traveller'.
Please make sure that the information you are submitting on behalf of your group is true and accurate.
You may submit the SG Arrival Card (SGAC) on behalf of others. Please ensure that the information you have submitted on behalf of others is true and accurate.
For travellers who require assistance to submit the SG Arrival Card, you may get someone else (i.e. your proxy) to submit the SGAC on your behalf prior to your arrival in Singapore.
Your proxy must ensure that the information submitted on your behalf is true and accurate.
You are required to provide a valid email address and contact number when submitting the electronic health declaration. Without a valid email address, you will not receive the acknowledgement email and will experience delay during immigration clearance.
You are encouraged to create an email address prior to the submission of your health declaration.
You may submit your SG Arrival Card via the SG Arrival Card e-Service or via the ‘MyICA’ mobile application. The mobile application can be downloaded for free from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
Upon successful submission of the SG Arrival Card (SGAC), an acknowledgement email, which contains information on your arrival declarations will be sent to the email address provided in your SGAC submission. Foreign visitors will be able to find the Disembarkation/Embarkation (DE) number in the acknowledgement emails.
Travellers who had submitted the SGAC at ICA e-Service will be able to download a PDF copy of their declarations after submission.
Please be informed that the acknowledgement email would suffice. You can refer to the email spam/junk folder if you are unable to find the acknowledgement email in your email inbox. Upon arrival in Singapore, please show the acknowledgement email on your mobile device or a printout copy to the ICA officers.
You are required to select between "Hotel, Others, or Residential" for the type of accommodation that you are residing in Singapore during SGAC submission, and answer the fields provided thereafter.
You should submit your SG Arrival Card within three days prior to the date of your arrival in Singapore, to avoid unnecessary delays during immigration clearance. For example, travellers arriving in Singapore on 30 June 2020 can only submit their declaration from 28 June 2020 onwards
