Hon’ble Justice Ashok Bhushan National Company Law Appellate Tribunal

Hon’ble Justice Ashok Bhushan is currently the Chairperson of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal. He was formerly the Judge of the Supreme Court. He served as the Judge of the Supreme Court of India from 13th May 2016 to 04.07.2021. He was part of several key verdicts, including the 2019 ruling in the Ayodhya case and the SC’s suo motu intervention in the migrant crisis. As a sitting Judge of the Supreme Court of India, he was also appointed as Chairman of the Ravi Bias River Tribunal. He had also served as the Chief Justice, Judge of the High Court of Kerala and had headed Higher Judicial Service Committee and several other committees. Worked as Standing Counsel of Allahabad University, State Mineral Development Corporation Limited, and several Municipal Boards, Banks & Education Institutions. He graduated in Arts and also obtained Law Degree in 1st Division from Allahabad University in the year 1979 and Enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh.
